It seems Virginia Tech football does more than provide a means for justifying a day full of tailgating and beer pong; it's also contributing to the research on Traumatic Brain Injuries. Apparently, Hokie football helmets are equipt with sensors that monitor impact and track data to test helmets for our troops. Just another reason to love and admire Virginia Tech.
