What's on TV tonight?

A few things on my mind this evening while I anxiously await the medal ceremony of this political race:

1) I don't know if it's a credit to the election board folks or a bad sign of what's to come, but it only took me 30 minutes total to vote today. Probably would have taken even less time, but for some reason all of the A-C's showed up at once. (Seriously, no other letters were there. )

2)What did you all choose: the stupid electronic ballot or good ol' paper ballot? I went with paper and no, it wasn't just because Mom told me to. (She also told me not to be fooled if someone told me to vote on the 5th instead--thanks Mom.) Think about it. How many times in high school or college did the scan tron incorrectly read your test? It never happened, unless you cheated (cheaters!). Now, think about those touchscreen Photo Hunt games at bars. Those things f'up all the time (pardon my abbreviated French.) Maybe not the best examples, but the paper line was shorter AND it made me more comfortable seeing my vote go into that big paper shredder looking bin......hmmm uh oh.....

3)Candidates should consult kids when coming up with campaign slogans. I mean really, I think this one I heard is brilliant: "If you're insane, vote for McCain. If you love your Momma, vote for Obama!"

4) I went to a new class at the gym this evening called Body Step. It's insane like McCain. Since it's new, the first couple classes you learn the basic footwork and a couple "simple" routines. If you've never done a step class before, none of these steps are that simple. Typically an hour class, we only worked 30 minutes tonight and did 4 out of the 12 tracks. I was beat, and I mean beat. Since I did this crazy class and we're crowning a new President, I figured it was a good time to finally try the Coffee Caramel Milkshake from Chik-fil-a. It's in the freezer now marinating until I'm ready. I'll let you know how it goes. I've heard great things...
